Raman spectroscopy of pseudomorphic Si0.989C0.011/Si superlattices

► We investigated the Raman spectra of two series of Si0.989C0.011/Si superlattices. ► It was possible to observe C-C atoms arranged as second and third nearest-neighbors. ► Raman spectra show some similarities with the spectrum calculated for a random alloy.
