First-principles calculations of structural and thermodynamic properties of Y 3Al5O12

► This paper systematically studied the mechanical properties of Y 3Al5O12 from first principles calculations and E-V relationship. ► We have studied the thermodynamic properties of Y 3Al5O12 by quasi-harmonic Debye model. ► Our calculated results agree well with the experimental results.
