Possible low-TCTC nanoparticles for use in magnetic hyperthermia treatments

Based on the modified Heisenberg model and using a Green’s function technique we have studied the influence of size, shape and composition effects on the Curie temperature TCTC of ferromagnetic nanoparticles. We have discussed various possibilities which could lead to decreasing of TCTC in order to find possible low-TCTC particles suitable for use in magnetic hyperthermia treatments.
