Spin-polarization transport in ferromagnetic semiconductor/ferromagnetic pp-wave superconductor junctions

An extended Blonder–Tinkham–Klapwijk (BTK) approach is applied to study the spin polarized transport in ferromagnetic semiconductor/ferromagnetic pp-wave superconductor (FS/FpS) junctions. It is demonstrated that the normalization conductance strongly depends not only on the kinds of holes (heavy or light) in the FS and pairings for the FpS but also on the relative orientations of the effective exchange field in the FS and FpS. In triplet superconductor junctions zero-energy Andreev bound states (ABS) and proximity effect can coexist with each other. This property may serve as a method to identify the triplet symmetry of ferromagnetic superconductors.
