Critical data evaluation of the aluminium–nickel–titanium system

The literature on data of the system Al–Ni–Ti is reviewed. A critical judgement regarding the reliably established facts vs. educated guesses is made. As a result the data, which are found consistent, are presented. A recommendation is given as to which data need to be verified or newly investigated.
