Vacuum sintering of novel cemented carbide hard alloy (W0.4Al0.6)C0.5-Co

► (W0.4Al0.6)C0.5-Co was prepared by mechanical alloying and vacuum sintering. ► Impacts of sintering temperature and time on microstructure are shown. ► Impacts of sintering temperature and time on mechanical properties are shown. ► The optimal sintering condition is under the temperature of 1350ºCfor 90 min.
