Development of Mathematical Model for Prediction of Convexity Index in Cladding by Pulsed MIG Welding Process
چکیده انگلیسی

Pulsed metal inert gas welding (PMIGW) process is more effective for cladding. The input process parameters for present analysis are welding current (I), welding speed (S) and nozzle-to-plate distance (N) respectively. By using response surface methodology technique the experiments were conducted as per central composite design techniques. The measured response is convexity index and models were developed from the collection of data and checked for their adequacy. Analysis of variances was used to analysis the input process parameters. The direct effect and interactive effect of the process parameters on the convexity index is significant and cannot be neglected it is represented graphically.
