Cross sections for 167° backscattering of 4He from carbon around 4.26 MeV

► The elastic non-Rutherford cross-section for 4He on C is measured. ► The measured data were evaluated with a computer code based on the R-matrix formalism. ► The parameters (spin, position, width) of the 10.356 MeV state in 16O were obtained.
