Topological modeling of amorphization in SiC nodal network structures using local rules

► Nodal models were built for amorphization and better than tetrahedral models. ► Amorphous SiC was built by deviant local assembly rules based on crystalline SiC. ► Springs were applied to make the assembly be close to the real process. ► Chemical disorders were introduced into the assembly process.
