چکیده انگلیسی
Based on the kinetic theory of stopping of a homogeneous electron gas for heavy ions with nuclear charge Z1, the intrinsic role of relative kinematics in averaged binary energy transfers is investigated for ion velocities below the Fermi velocity. The required quantum mechanical transport cross sections are computed with spherically screened potentials precalculated in the Kohn–Sham approximation at embedding condition. Important changes, as a function of intruder velocities, are established in the Z1-oscillation of the resulting stopping power. Comparison of theoretical results with data obtained at surface-channeling condition shows a good agreement at the experimental ion velocity.
