Thermoluminescent dosimetric characteristics of β-ray irradiated RbCl single crystal doped with Eu- and OH-ions

In the present study, the thermoluminescent dosimetric characteristics, such as the dose–response, signal fading as a function of storage time, and reusability, of europium (Eu) and hydroxyl (OH) doped RbCl single crystal were investigated. The samples were subjected to different thermal treatments before irradiation to investigate the possible use of these crystals in radiation dosimetry.
