Effect of annealing on the structural and optical properties of InSe bilayer thin films

► Highly oriented InSe single phase thin film is synthesized by sequential thermal evaporation. ► Se content plays an important role in determining the surface morphology of the film. ► InSe thin film undergoes phase transition with increase in thickness. ► The shallow traps present in the InSe thin film is responsible for photocurrent.
