Development of applied software for analysis of gas flows in vacuum devices

► Gas mixture flows in Knudsen and Holweck pumps were modeled using the developed problem solving environment. ► Transient flow development processes at specified initial conditions, and attainment of the steady-state mode were considered. ► The Knudsen pump calculations have revealed a non-monotonic process of gas pumping and the mixture separation.
