Artificial neural network as a classification method of mice by their calls

Call of animals is one of the main behavioral expressions. It contains important and abundant biological meanings; among these meanings what is most important is that they reveal the characteristics of the animal. Therefore, animals can be classified according to their calls. In this paper we proposed an artificial neural network (ANN) method to classify mice based on their calls. Experiment results show its effectiveness and usefulness.
