A particle trapping chip using the wide and uniform slit formed by a deformable membrane with air bubble plugs

► We present a high-efficient particle trapping chip using air bubble plugs and membrane. ► The air bubble plugs block the particle passage at the edges of channel. ► Therefore, all particles flow through the uniform membrane gap in the channel. ► We verified the particle trapping efficiency of 100% at the flow rate of 10 μl/min. ► The present device is applicable in the high-efficient micro total analysis system.
