Physicochemical and photocatalytic activities of self-assembling TiO2 nanoparticles on nanocarbons surface

► The nanocarbon/TiO2 nanocomposites were successfully prepared from a thermal reaction. ► The graphene/TiO2 nanocomposite have more excellent structure and morphology than SWCNT/TiO2 and C60/TiO2. ► These nanocarbon/TiO2 nanocomposites showed a higher photocatalytic activity than P25. ► The graphene/TiO2 nanocomposite presented highest photocatalytic activity.
