Nanoparticle kinetic effects experimentally observed in a magnetic fluid under a quasi-homogeneous magnetic field

► External magnetic field creates a new nanoparticle quasi-grating. ► We find that the new grating is perpendicular to the original one. ► We observe a planar grating in the transitional phase of about 15 s. ► We speculate that the new grating is related to structuralization of particles.
