Structure factor of ferrofluids with chain aggregates: Theory and computer simulations

►A new model of the structure factor for a ferrofluid with chain aggregates is introduced. ►Granulometric composition of ferrofluids qualitatively exchanges behavior of the structure factor. ►The chains give rise to the anisotropy of the structure factor parallel and perpendicular to the external magnetic field.
