Non-equilibrium Green's function approach to the quasiparticle transport and magnetoresistance in hybrid magnetic tunnel junctions

► The s-f interaction (many body interaction) gives rise to quasiparticle bands in the electrode region. ► The many body interaction (s-f interaction) is found to posses strong influence on the TMR of these MTJs. ► Substantial influence of the band occupation of the electrode layers (n) on the TMR is also observed from our study.
