Magneto and ferroelectric phase transitions in HoMn2O5 monocrystals

Both from the physics and applications points of view multiferroics present an extremely interesting class of systems and problems. We report here dielectric and polarization measurements on single crystals of HoMn2O5 as a function of temperature and magnetic field and include a short discussion about the possible origin.
