Validation of an iterative reconstruction for a mobile tomographic gamma camera system-The Cardiotom

The new reconstruction algorithm provides greatly improved depth resolution with respect to the FBP method previously implemented on the Cardiotom. Furthermore, for clinical examinations, images can be available for interpretation within 15 min of the injection, therefore, valuable information can be obtained without delaying treatment of the patient.
