Tolerance of start-up control of rotation in parametric pendulum by delayed feedback

► A delayed feedback control for periodic rotation of parametric pendulum is proposed. ► Tolerance of control is confirmed at mistuning target rotation in experiment. ► Periodic rotation is maintained with extremely small control input. ► Tolerable range can be theoretically estimated based on bifurcation structure. ► Frequency synchronization governs tolerance and range of control possibility.
