Species differences among various rodents in the conversion of 7α-hydroxycholesterol in liver microsomes

The results suggest that microsomal enzyme activity in the conversion of 7α-hydroxycholesterol to 7-ketocholesterol varies considerably, even within the subfamily Cricetinae and the family Muridae.
