A new labdane diterpene from Vitex cauliflora Moldenke from the Madagascar rainforest

The new labdane diterpene shown was isolated from an antiplasmodial extract of the aerial parts of Vitex cauliflora, but the isolated compound did not show any antiplasmodial activity.
