Review of two hypoplastic equations for clay considering axisymmetric element deformations

In this paper are discussed two recently developed rate-independent hypoplastic material laws for cohesive soils. The performance of these versions is shown with numerical simulations carried out by the authors.For each version a brief introduction is given in which the theoretical background and the main features of the two versions are described.
