Development of “Hibikino-Musashi” omni-directional mobile robot

“Hibikino-Musashi,” a middle-size league RoboCup soccer team, is a joint team of three organizations: Kyushu Institute of Technology, the University of Kitakyushu, and the Kitakyushu Foundation for the Advancement of Industry, Science and Technology (FAIS). We recently developed a new omni-directional mobile robot platform with an omni-directional vision system. In this paper, our robot platform is presented.
