چکیده انگلیسی
Until 2003, continuing medical education (CME) was not a legal obligation in France. In November 2003, and July 2006, two legislative texts were published, devoted to the organization of CME. The national council for CME was established. The role of the institutions involved in CME was emphasized (in particular universities, medical associations and societies involved in CME, university colleges â¦). Each physician must obtain 250 credits of CME every five academic years. The French Intensive Care Society (SRLF) has been officially recognized as an institution enabled to organize CME for intensivists. The annual congress held each year in January in Paris and multiple meetings throughout the academic year are useful tools for intensivists to obtain the legal requirement in terms of credits.
