Affects of thyroid function and maternal urinary iodine on neonatal weights

Neonatal weight is an important factor of children survival times. This article focuses the modeling of neonatal weights on thyroid function of mother and children, and maternal urinary iodine excretion, using the technique of joint generalized linear models. In the process many parameters have been identified affecting the mean and variance.
