The cause of hypotonia in neonates may be varied. Two reports are presented of floopy baby causes combined with intrauterine infection. The first case is neonate with abstinence syndrome by mothers taking big doses of lorazepam. The second case is a Marfan syndrome baby. Notice the fact of intrauterine infection concealed by hypotonia in both cases.
