The aim of physiotherapy in SMA is to reduce progress of motor deficits, restore functionality and self-sufficiency of the patient. General condition exercises, neurophysiological methods as NDT Bobath and PNF, massage, electrotherapy and laser biostymulation are used in rehabilitation of children with spinal muscular atrophy.
