Expression of GAP-43 in fibroblast cell lines influences the orientation of cell division

► The cell long axis can be used for in vitro model to analyze the dividing pattern. ► GAP-43 expressing could influence the orientation of the cell division. ► We found that GAP-43 was localized on the membrane but not the centrosome. ► GAP-43 might involve in regulating cell division with centrosome independent style.
