Heat and starvation induced hormesis in longevity of Oomyzus sokolowskii (Kurdjumov) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) adult females

► This paper investigates the effect of heat stress on Oomyzus sokolowskii. ► Hormesis in longevity was induced by sub-lethal heat stress. ► Both median lethal temperature and median lethal time are estimated. ► Median lethal temperature was decreased with the increase of the exposure time. ► Median lethal time was reduced with the increase of exposure temperature.
