Determination of the 3D temperature distribution during ferromagnetic hyperthermia under the influence of blood flow

► We establish a 3D model of heat transfer process in ferromagnetic hyperthermia. ► We conducted experiments to validate the effectiveness of the modeling method. ► Pulsatile blood flow has similar prominent effect on TVH as a steady blood flow. ► Cooling effect of blood vessels is enhanced with an increase in blood velocity. ► Regulating Curie temperature, seeds number and spacing will yield uniform heating.
