Surgical treatment is still complex in the subclavian artery, and more so if it is necessary to approach the thorax or in high-risk patients. In recent years, the use of endovascular techniques to treat both traumatic and iatrogenic lesions in the subclavian artery have minimised the complications deriving from surgical treatment.
