Midterm Outcome of Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in Young Patients: A Multicenter Italian Study

Patients less than 50 years of age undergoing CABG have an excellent outcome compared with elderly patients. These data indicate that despite its premature onset, coronary artery disease in young patients does not have a more aggressive course than that in older patients.
