Thrombophilic Variables Do Not Increase the Generation or Procoagulant Activity of Thrombin During Cardiopulmonary Bypass

Preoperative thrombophilic variables do not associate with perioperative thrombin generation or its procoagulant activity in patients undergoing CABG. Our results do not support routine thrombophilia screening before CABG.
