Dysautonomia and ventricular dysfunction in the indeterminate form of Chagas disease

Patients with the indeterminate form of Chagas disease have both dysautonomia and left ventricular diastolic dysfunction. However, the right ventricular function is preserved. Importantly, ventricular diastolic dysfunction and dysautonomia are independent phenomena.
