Dramatic spontaneous resolution of contained rupture of left ventricle within 24 h – A case report

Myocardial infarction is associated with mechanical and non-mechanical complications. Here we are reporting a case presenting with evolved posterolateral wall myocardial infarction with free wall rupture and pericardial effusion with layered clot and its spontaneous resolution without any intervention.
