Qualitative Analysis of the Removal of the Smear Layer in the Apical Third of Curved Roots: Conventional Irrigation versus Activation Systems

Sonic and ultrasonic irrigation resulted in better removal of the smear layer in the apical third of curved root canals than did conventional irrigation.
