The indication of enteral nutrition in a patient with hyperglycemia can come about either within the context of diabetes, or at the time of an acute pathological situation complicated by a stress hyperglycemia. In these hyperglycemic situations, which product and which strategy should be adopted in order to best supply a suitable enteral nutrition? Which treatment for hyperglycaemia should be put forward? The appropriate treatment to be followed revolves around these two interdependant axes.
