Metabolic effects of sleeve gastrectomy in female rat model of diet-induced obesity

Sleeve gastrectomy appears to result in weight loss and improvements in adiponectin and leptin by way of mechanisms independent of ghrelin levels in a female model of diet-induced obesity.
