Les produits de comblement

RésuméLe refus des signes du vieillissement a entraîné l’augmentation spectaculaire du nombre de produits de comblement permettant le traitement, non plus seulement des signes de vieillissement cutané, mais aussi des modifications morphologiques. Ces « fillers » classiques ou volumateurs, biodégradables, essentiellement à base d’acide hyaluronique, sont adaptés à toutes les localisations. Ils offrent la possibilité de traiter l’ensemble des altérations cutanées superficielles ou profondes et de restaurer les fontes graisseuses. Les résultats sont (très) satisfaisants à condition toutefois d’avoir respecté les indications de traitement (choix du produit et site), d’avoir pratiqué préalablement au traitement un interrogatoire médical et un examen clinique approfondis et d’avoir remis aux patients les recommandations à observer avant et après traitement. Les effets secondaires sont alors très rares et transitoires.

Refusal to accept signs of aging has led to a spectacular increase in the number of filler products which allow treatment not only of the cutaneous signs of aging but also of other morphological modifications. Biodegradable classic “fillers” (volumizing agents), which are mainly made of hyaluronic acid, are now adopted to be used on a variety of dermal sites. They offer the possibility of treating a number of superficial or deep cutaneous alterations and to restore fatty abnormalities. The results are (very) satisfactory, assuming that indications for the treatment (choice of product and site of treatment) were respected, that the person doing the treatment has had adequate experience, that a complete medical history and examination were done before the intervention and that the patient was told what he/she must do before and after the treatment. Adverse secondary effects are very rare and usually transitory.
