Anaphylaxie prélétale au fenugrec. Importance des co-facteurs

RésuméUn accident anaphylactique prélétal, chez un enfant asthmatique connu, a permis de suspecter une allergie alimentaire à un allergène émergeant : le fénugrec. L’observation que nous rapportons est particulière par la gravité des manifestations asthmatiques, par l’existence d’épisodes antérieurs récurrents d’allergie alimentaire ignorés devant la gravité des crises d’asthme, par l’importance des co-facteurs à l’origine des manifestations d’allergie alimentaire.

A case of non-fatal anaphylaxis in an asthmatic child led us to suspect food allergy to an emerging allergen: fenugreek. The case we report here is special because of the severity of the patient's asthmatic attacks, the existence of previous recurrent episodes of food allergy which had been ignored due to the severity of the child's asthma, and because of the importance of the co-factors which were the cause of the food allergy.
