Balancing professional and home life

Practice faculty new to the academic environment will find multiple and sometimes conflicting demands placed on them because of their dual on-campus and practice site responsibilities while at the same time juggling home and family obligations. Personal characteristics and workplace expectations may contribute to imbalance in the academic world.
