Protocolo terapéutico hospitalario del infarto de miocardio

ResumenLa valoración inicial de los pacientes con dolor torácico en los Servicios de Urgencias hospitalarios o extrahospitalarios se centra en identificar a aquellos pacientes que presentan un síndrome coronario agudo con elevación del segmento ST (SCACEST) para ofrecer la estrategia de reperfusión al paciente en el menor tiempo posible, ya que este tiempo hasta el restablecimiento del flujo coronario es el mayor determinante del pronóstico de infarto (IM). Para ello se ha invertido mucho esfuerzo en elaborar protocolos de actuación que dirijan la atención y el tratamiento del paciente con un SCA.
