Points essentielsLes anticorps antiphosphatidyléthanolamine (aPE) sont retrouvés en cas de manifestations cliniques thrombotiques et obstétricales évocatrices de syndrome des antiphospholipides (SAPL).Les aPE semblent être un marqueur de risque thrombotique indépendant des anticorps antiphospholipides (aPL) conventionnels.Le dosage des aPE n’est pas encore standardisé.Il n’existe pas de recommandations thérapeutiques pour les patients aPE positifs isolés ayant des manifestations thrombotiques ou obstétricales.Il est nécessaire de réaliser des études prospectives pour définir la prise en charge thérapeutique de ces patients.La place des aPE dans la définition du SAPL n’est toujours pas établie.
