Bandelette sous-urétrale en ambulatoire chez la femme : revue de la littérature

RésuméIntroductionL’objectif du travail était de rapporter l’efficacité, la morbidité et la faisabilité des bandelettes sous-urétrales (BSU) pour incontinence urinaire d’effort (IUE) chez la femme en ambulatoire.Matériel et méthodesUne revue systématique de la littérature a été réalisée à partir de la base de donnée Pubmed en utilisant les mots clés : suburethral sling, midurethral sling, TVT, TOT, outpatient surgery, day surgery.RésultatsEn post-opératoire, 78 à 88 % des patientes étaient continentes ; 6,8 à 12 % d’entre elles étaient améliorées. Aucune complication majeure n’a été retrouvée. Les complications mineures variaient entre 7,2 et 19,8 %. Quatre-vingts pour cent à 86,6 % des patientes n’ont présenté aucune complication. Le taux de retour à domicile à j0 variait de 70,4 à 100 %. Le taux de satisfaction était de 89,4 à 95 %.ConclusionLe traitement de l’IUE par BSU en ambulatoire est faisable, efficace, avec un faible taux de complication et un important taux de satisfaction.

SummaryIntroductionThe aim of this study was to assess efficacy, complication and feasibility of outpatient suburethral slings for stress urinary incontinence in women.Material and methodsA systematic review of the literature was done from the Pubmed data-base by searching following keywords: suburethral sling, midurethral sling, TVT, TOT, outpatient surgery, day surgery.ResultsSeventy-eight percent to 88% of patients were continent postoperatively, and 6.8 to 12% of patients were significantly improved. No major complication occured and minor complications were observed in 7.2 to 19.8% of patients. Eighty to 86.6% of patients experienced no complication. Seventy percent to 100% of patients were discharged on post operative day 0. The satisfaction rate was 89.4 to 95%.ConclusionOutpatient suburethral sling for stress urinary incontinence is suitable, effective, with a low complication rate, and with a high rate of satisfaction.
