ACTUALIZACIÓN EN CONTORNO CORPORAL POSBARIÁTRICO

RESUMENLa obesidad y sobrepeso son cada día más prevalentes, lo que ha traído consigo un aumento en el número de pacientes sometidos a cirugía bariátrica. Posterior a la baja de peso, el último paso en el tratamiento integral de la obesidad es la cirugía de contorno corporal. Existen distintas técnicas quirúrgicas, de acuerdo a la región a tratar y a las características del paciente y sus expectativas. El presente artículo presenta el estado actual de la cirugía de contorno corporal en el paciente sometido a cirugía bariátrica.

SUMMARYOverweight and obesity have become common health problems, which has brought an increase in the number of patients undergoing bariatric surgery. After the weight loss, the last step in the comprehensive treatment of obesity is the body contouring surgery. There are different surgical techniques, depending on the area to be treated and the patient's features and expectations. This article presents the current state of body contouring surgery in patients undergoing bariatric surgery.
