Common disorders of the adult foot and ankle

In this article we shall explore some more common manifestations of local and systemic disease within the foot and ankle; building on the previous paper by the senior author. Here we shall discuss Freiberg's disease, lesser toe deformities, disease secondary to diabetes mellitus, ankle instability, and osteochondral lesions of the talus. The aetiology, presentation and management options will be considered for each.
