CNS disorders presenting as a general surgical problem

In this article a number of neurosurgical problems which can mimic different conditions and therefore can present to the general surgeon and others are discussed. It is wise to consider neurological pathology amongst the differential diagnoses, especially when the more common alternatives have been excluded.
